CAMILLE SADE
The Basics
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Age: 19
Birth Date: January 22
What Do You Look Like?
Appearance: Camille stands at a height of five feet and five inches, with light brunette hair that reaches down to her rib cage, with dirty blonde highlights that stretch a third of the way up from the tips. She is usually seen with it parted into two low pigtails that cascade down in front of her, neatly trimmed bangs that rest just above her blueish-grey eyes. Camille also tries her best to keep a constant weight of one hundred and twenty pounds, though every now and then she gains a few.Her complexion, in her opinion is her best feature; lightly tanned skin, as smooth as porcelain. While it is her pride, Camille is not beneath accenting her skin with some makeup. Her favorites to adorn consist of red eye shadow and a touch of lip gloss, the one item she would not dare leave without.
Starter Outfit: Camille usually settles for anything cute, yet comfortable. A lacy blue blouse covers her upper body; atop of that lays her pink hooded sweater, a red patterned trim decorating the rim of her hood along with the ends of her sleeves which reach past her palms, revealing just her fingers. The hood strings, which are also red, are tied neatly into a bow with small white poms hanging from the ends. The shoulders are adorned with white hearts that leave a trail leading all the way down to the base of the sleeve in dotted lines. A third heart rests itself rests at the center of the sweater just below the breast line, meeting with a white trim at its base that wraps around the edge of the sweater.
She wears simple white skinny jeans as well, fitted comfortably and covering the rims of her red and white converse shoes. She is not one to adorn much - if any - jewelry or accessories unless it is called for.
Who Are You?
Likes: Canine Pokémon, shopping, singing, baking, angel hair pasta Dislikes: Eeveelutions, beaches, people that like to argue, not being in charge, working late hours
Fears: Loneliness
Goals: To obtain a high position of authority
Personality: Most often then not, Camille is quite upbeat and cheerful. However, she holds herself in high regard around those she is unfamiliar with, giving off a sort of elitist aura. Despite that upbeat attitude of hers, she doesn't particularly like to conversate with those she doesn't know, just enough to get what she needs or to get by. Basically, if you don't need to know, she won't tell you. On the flip side, if she likes you enough, she opens up quite easily. Casual conversations become much more frequent and she is more likely to share more about herself once she's decided she can trust you. Just as she holds herself up to high standards though, she does the same with who she chooses to socialize with, so making a good impression is important.
She has a knack for pulling the strings in her favor, often relying on her cunning to steer people in the preferred direction. You could say she is a bit manipulative, but only if really needed. She doesn't like to spend a lot of time with negotiation and often loses her patience when things don't fall into place fast enough; having to argue with people is the worst. Camille is a girl with a need for some form of power or control over those around her. She is aware of her limitations but that doesn't stop her from trying to reach the top. She hates to raise her voice, as she shouldn't have to and tries her best to be calm despite her growing anger with troublesome situations, no reason to lose her voice over those who are most likely not worth her time.
When alone or with those closest to her, Camille very free spirited and is able to really feel comfortable with her surroundings. While she still upholds the title she's given herself, she relinquishes herself to her own desires and spends a lot of her free time pampering herself or significant other. This is when she opens up most and can go on and on for hours talking or singing or whatever it is she's in the mood for.
Where Did You Come From?
Hometown: Dendemille townFamily: Her family was pretty average, she had a mother and a father, along with one younger sibling. She hardly got along with any though and actually preferred to keep away from associating with them, though they probably did not care as much. She also has her aunt on her mother's side, along with her uncle who she spends the majority of her teen years with.
Background: Much like she is now, her parents were very prideful and worked hard to live as comfortably in their small town as possible, which was alright at first. After her younger sister was born, most of the attention was directed toward her. This didn't seem too out of the ordinary for her at the time, but after a while it became painfully obvious who they favored. She had favorable talents, ones that her parent's worked to perfect and show off to the entire town. Growing up under her sister's shadow was infuriating and eventually she started secluding herself from the rest of them, either in the company of a few friends or just doing her own thing. More often than not, it got very lonely on her end.
Feeling the need to make a name for herself and regain the self respect she was deprived of, Camille made it her mission to have a life that was much more prosperous than that of her immediate family. It was very difficult to do so where she lived though, so she set out for Lumiose, where she could live with her aunt and uncle and take schooling there. After receiving the ok, she set off in hopes of attaining more than she could had she not taken the chance and left. While the atmosphere was a lot more welcoming, her aunt and uncle's busy lifestyle left her with just herself as company most of the time. Luckily though, she could at least find some sort of company being around the students she was going to have to see often.
One of those students however proved to be quite the handful; Adrien, who is now her current boyfriend. She didn't pay much attention to him at first, choosing to focus more on why she came to Lumiose rather than someone she hardly knew. Still though, the attention was quite flattering. Eventually his persistence and charm won her over and she decided to give him a chance. They grew very close and it was then that the promise to travel together after graduation was made.

RP experience: For the past 6 years I've been role playing on and off, though only in the last couple years have I progressed and indulged in more multi-paragraph formats. I'm still working on my wording but I feel I've come a long way since then!

Snap!
Went the man’s quill pen for the fifth time that evening. Ja’far sighed, tossing it to the side and reaching over for the spares that he always kept by the desk. The day just seemed…Very off for the man, and all thanks to a simple question. It started out small, he would have his regular conversations, but with less eye contact. Next thing he knew, he spent less time speaking above answering questions or giving direction, and it escalated to abstaining from being by his side completely.
It wasn’t like Ja’far to take such a thing to heart, it isn’t like he’s not thought it many times before, so what was it that made it so much worse now? Maybe he just needed rest, something else that had caused his nerves to be more on edge than usual lately. They always warn him to pace himself, but he obviously never heads their warning.
He gave up, it was time for a break, whether he wanted it or not.
His eyes wandered, at some point in the day he had become the only person acquiring the space of his office, his subordinates most likely dispersing to finish other duties they had. “No matter… I could use the time alone." Thought Ja’far as he picked up a few completed scrolls and disappeared behind the large shelves.
The mind was a cruel thing, often bringing up the thing you would least like to dwell upon. No matter what he did to distract himself, it all kept returning him to the point of his distress.
What am I truly doing here?
If it weren’t for that chance encounter, he wouldn’t be where he was today. How could Ja’far possibly ever hope to repay for such an opportunity? As far as he was concerned, he wasn’t even worthy to be in the presence of such a person. Sometimes he convinced himself he could even see the rukh around him, for it was just that bright, whereas he…
That’s enough.
Abandoning reorganizing, he dropped the scrolls and made his way over to the window, deciding to view down upon the country he currently called home. Everything looked so peaceful, completely undisturbed by the forces of nature and otherwise. If only he could mimic that calm like state, but not everyone was so lucky.
